Added Inconvenience to Comments

To all my legitimate readers, I've had a huge influx of spam posts to my comments sections throughout the blog (particularly to a post I made over a year ago-- I don't know how the hell they're finding that one). Anyway, rather than restricting the comments section so much that only "members" can post (since most of my real-life friends are not members), I'm hoping that I can get by with making y'all type out a code before you post. You know how when you sign up for a free email account or whatever and you have to type in what those big bubble letters and numbers say? They do that because humans can read it but computers doing the spamming cannot.

Anyway, I know it's an added inconvenience, but I hope that those of you making genuine comments will still continue to do so, because I always enjoy them.

I most certainly won't be put off by the minor inconvenience added to the process of posting a comment.

It's been a while since I've had the chance to check out your blog - so I've had a lot of catching up to do. The bashing of the 64 year old sounds absolutely hideous. We haven't heard anything about it down under. Probably cos we are too busy exposing all the terrorists (who all happen to be muslim, despite a political promise that new laws would not target the muslim community.)

Thanks for clarifying why some people stay in the path of a hurricane. Your friend in Oz sounds like a great girl - she must have red hair ;)

Sure wish you had a "contact" page so maybe you could make a small amount of bucks by blogging for others. That would be a good job for a great blogger like yourself.
